Southern Souls videos

We had the pleasure to film with Mitch Fillion in Guelph on Dec. 10th, 2009. Mitch runs an amazing video site that you should know about called Southern Souls. He's amassed an enviable collection of performances from a slew of Canadian artists. We recorded two songs with him: "No Coins" and "Mama's Bag" (both new songs that we will be releasing on the next album). You can watch the videos here or at the Southern Souls website. I recommend that you browse through the site; I'm sure you'll find some amazing music and images.

Zunior digital distribution

We're pleased as punch to let you know that Zunior has kindly accepted O&AL into their roster of digitally distributed bands. Zunior is an independent digital distributor based out of Toronto that is driven by a desire to support independent Canadian acts. Thanks to Paterson and Paul for initiating this partnership.

CBC2 & The Drive

Mr. Terfy (aka Buck 65) has been playing our tunes regularly on The Drive, and we thank him sincerely for his support. Sadly, even the most popular of CBC radio programs are currently under threat of budget reductions and cuts, largely due to asinine, conservative underappreciation of the value of the arts to Canadian culture, especially at times of social and economic crisis.

Please do your part and support our only space for less ideologically encumbered programming and listen to the CBC.

You can check out The Drive here.
